Ethical rules from 27 EU MSs have been studied. 52 are acts of area of Еthics and Professional conduct  (EPC) are existed. The present study does not include a code of prosecutors in Malta and ethical rules for judges in Greece.

From all countries, without codes are: Malta – for prosecutors and Greece for judges.

Information on whether there are different codes for judges and prosecutors is shown in the following figure:


The chronological development of the adoption of EPC rules and their frequency in the EU territory are presented in the figures below. Red bar indicates the year of Bangalore Principles.
